The Principal is seeking to appoint an Event Manager to undertake the overall management, planning and delivery of the City of South Perth Australia Day event, commencing in August 2017 for the January 2018 event and the two subsequent events in 2019 and 2020. The City of South Perth stages an event in support of and working with the City of Perth Skyworks show. Held on Sir James Mitchell Park, Coode St, 'the Celebration Zone' is a free event for the community containing a range of activities, stage performances and entertainment. The Celebration Zone operates from 3pm through to 8pm on Australia Day and works in conjunction with City of Perth activities leading up to the City of Perth fireworks (Skyworks).

The Event Manager will be required to provide and/or source labour including volunteers, plant and equipment, materials, chemicals, transport/cartage, supervision/administrative costs, surveying, travelling expenses etc. and anything else necessary to carry out the services required under the proposed Contract for a period of 3 years.
