Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Nuts for Life - Educating health professionals (NL16000).
The aim of this project is to develop a program to educate health professionals on the benefits of including nuts in a healthy diet. The program aims to position Australian nuts in the mind of key health influencers as an important ‘nutritional solution’. This will be done through developing and delivering research outcomes to further communicate and reinforce the message with health professionals that nuts are a healthy snack due to their nutritional profile.
Key program objectives are:
* Provide the scientific evidence that nuts play an important role in a healthy daily diet
* Increase the understanding and advocacy by health professionals of the nutritional value of nuts as a snack option
* Develop nutritional research and educational resources to support information dissemination and raise the profile of nuts as a food with aspirational health benefits.
