HNECC is pleased to call for submissions for the chance to pitch for one-off funding at our INNOV8 Pitch Night in August, 2017.
A pitch night is an event held for organisations to pitch their innovative ideas to gain exposure and funding. It can best be described as a hybrid of crowd funding and a 'dragon's den' or 'shark tank' pitch event. This round of funding is part of the HNECC PHN's INNOV8 Health Development Initiative.
HNECC PHN is seeking innovative submissions from organisations that are focused on health access/programs that assist the most vulnerable and disadvantaged people/communities.
Proposals will only be considered if they are specific to the HNECC PHN region. Applicants will be required to indicate which sub-region the proposal is for (Hunter, New England, Central Coast), and the locations within these sub regions. Proposals may cover one or more sub-regions.
Our aim is to provide one-off seed funding that will establish innovative ideas that not only meet the needs of the proposed community, but could act as a catalyst that benefits other vulnerable communities. For example, proposals may seek to improve the integration of community services, address gaps in service delivery, drive new technology-enabled care models or improve access to services. This allocation of grant funding is not recurrent.
Proposals that extend beyond June 30, 2018 cannot be funded.
