Tender Description
NOROC, which represents the Lismore, Tweed, Ballina, Byron, Kyogie and Richmond valley Councils, is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced people for appointment to a regional Code of Conduct Review Panel. Rous Country Council will also be utilising the NOROC Code of Conduct Review Panel when necessary.
This panel will be available to NOROC councils, and Rous County Council as required. To be eligible to be a member of a Code of Conduct Review Panel candidates must have:
* An understanding of local government
* Experience in, and knowledge of, investigate process including, but not limited to, procedural fairness requirements and the requirements of the Public Interest Disclosures Act 1994.
* Knowledge and experience of one or more of the following: law Investigations, public administration, public sector ethics or alternative dispute resolution.
Individuals who are on the existing NOROC Code of Conduct Review Panel or who are on an existing panel for a Council in New South Wales are free to apply.
