Tender Description
NZ Land Search & Rescue Inc. (LandSAR) seeks proposals from a suitably qualified and independent person or persons to conduct a study to evaluate the feasibility of developing an internal training capability managed, coordinated and delivered by LandSAR personnel.
The successful proposer will assume the role of a lead evaluator working with a small focus group as described in the RFP.
The scope of the evaluation will include two discrete areas of formal training which are to be considered separately: skills acquisition or new learning, and skills maintenance or refresher training.
The principal aim of the study is to explore alternative learning strategies and delivery models that provide contemporary, fit-for-purpose SAR training that is aligned to the operational role competency framework, and that LandSAR is receiving value for money from the public monies that we invest in training.
