This Invitation covers the Supply, Warehousing & Delivery of Fire Appliance Stowage Equipment for the SA Country Fire Service (SA CFS).
Stowage Equipment is defined as a cache of specific general and rescue equipment fitted to all new fire appliances. Each fire appliance type has a specific/unique cache of stowage equipment to compliment the functional requirements and location of the particular appliance.
Each new appliance built for the SA CFS by the contracted Body Builder will require a stowage kit as part of the fit-out process that will enable a hand over of a fully operational fire appliance to a brigade, following appropriate levels of training.
