Tender Description
Upper Hunter Shire Council completed an Airport Master Plan which includes the development of an Airport Commercial Precinct. The Commercial Precinct includes, but not limited to:
1. Aviation Visitor Attraction (AVA);
2. Airport Terminal;
3. Cafe & Gift Shop;
4. Function Centre; and
5. Public Car park.
The intention is for the Aviation Visitor Attraction to be a multi-purpose facility providing the Upper Hunter Region with a unique aviation attraction including the ability to host a cafe, gift shop, function centre and interactive aircraft display. The facility will need to provide access from the Visitor Attraction to the airport apron to enable the operator to provide a range of visitor experiences including for the potential of joy flights in the display aircraft, aircraft demonstration days and air shows.
