The Department of National Parks, Sport and Racing (NPSR) conserves and manages the State’s protected areas for the benefit of all Queenslanders.
Queensland is one of the most naturally diverse places in the world, with a rich cultural heritage. There are more than 1300 national parks, marine parks and other protected areas found throughout the regions. NPSR manages these areas both for the enjoyment of all people today and for future generations. Its success relies on a skilled and dedicated workforce, and on partnerships with local governments, Traditional Owners, landholders, conservation groups, industry and all Queenslanders.
NPSR requires the services of over-the-counter booking agents to facilitate the sale of camping and vehicle access permits and/or tour tickets (such as guided ranger tours and organised activities) via a Queensland National Parks Booking Service. For each permit and/or ticket issued, a set commission will be paid per permit, with the ability to process various payment options, including cash, credit card and EFTPOS and provide receipts.
