Tender Description
Council invites tenders from suitably qualified contractors for Maryborough CBD Refurbishment works in Ellena Street from Adelaide to Bazaar Streets and Bazaar Street from Kent to Sussex Streets, Maryborough.
The scope of the works includes, but is not limited to:
* Control of traffic; both vehicles and pedestrians
* Clearing to waste and salvaging of existing features
* Sorting out all existing material salvaged, arranging on pallets and delivering to Council’s nominated site.
* Earthworks associated primarily with kerb and footpath construction
* Drainage; pipes, culverts and structures
* Subbase and basecourse pavement works
* Kerb and Channel, trench drains
* Sealing works prior to Asphaltic Concrete overlay
* Linemarking and signage installation
* Segmental paving
* Minor Concrete works; extensive exposed aggregate and plain footpaths, paving base slabs
* Conduit installation
* Traffic signal modification
* Landscaping
Tenders must be clearly marked “W4Q1 - 16/17 Maryborough CBD Works" and must be lodged via Council’s electronic Tender box by no later than 11am, Thursday, 11 May, 2017.
