Contract Aerodrom Reporting Officer

⁠⁠⁠Mareeba Shire Council is seeking to engage a suitably qualified external contractor to undertake the functions of Aerodrome Reporting Officer (ARO) at the Mareeba Airport.

The principal responsibilities of the ARO are to carry out the specified weekly aerodrome serviceability inspections (currently 3 days per week) and associated duties and reporting functions. The ARO will also be expected to deal with general operational requests and issues concerning the Airport on a daily basis so that all operational matters are resolved as quickly as possible.
