Supply and Construct New Clarifier at Surat Water Treatment Plant

⁠⁠⁠17017 - Maranoa Regional Council is inviting suitably qualified and experienced suppliers to submit a lump sum price and supporting documentation for the supply and construction of a new clarifier at the Surat Water Treatment Plant.

The Surat Water Treatment Plant treats water sourced upstream from the Surat Weir on the Balonne River, for potable consumption in the town of Surat. The plant is based on a single clarifier followed by a single dual-media filter.

The successful Tenderer is required to design and construct a clarifier that adheres to the minimum specifications outlined in the Tender Documents.

Please Note:
The existing water treatment plant must remain in full operation while construction works are in progress, apart from short term periods to allow necessary connections to be undertaken (i.e. for the system to be transferred over to the new clarifier).
