The project is funded by the NSW government.

Applications for registration of interest are invited from contractors who are on Road and Maritime Services F150 PLUS (Financial), R5 (Roadworks) and B3 (Bridgeworks) Register of Prequalified Contractors to undertake the design and construction of the Albion Park Rail bypass.

The project involves detailed design and construction of an extension to the M1 between Yallah and Oak Flats bypassing the Princes Highway at Albion Park Rail.

A shortlist of applicants will be selected and invited to submit tenders for the design and construction of the project.

Applicants must comply with the New South Wales Government's Code of Practice for Procurement (NSW Code) and the New South Wales Government's Implementation Guidelines to the New South Wales Code of Practice for Procurement: Building and Construction Industry (NSW Guidelines).
