The East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS) comprises an extensive hospital and health service network that aims to maintain and improve the health and wellbeing of more than 670,000 West Australians in its catchment area.

Our hospital network works together to provide a combination of tertiary, secondary and specialist health care services including emergency and critical care, state trauma, elective and emergency surgery, general medical, mental health, inpatient and outpatient services, aged care, palliative care, rehabilitation and women’s, children’s and neonates services.

This Request seeks to establish a Customer Contract for one (1) supplier to provide Pest Control Treatment to the East Metropolitan Health Services (EMHS). Sites included in EMHS are, Royal Perth Hospital, Armadale Health Service, Bentley Health Service and Kalamunda Health Service. The required services are critical to ensure that the above sites are free of pests and maintained to Western Australian Health Facility Guidelines for Engineering Services.

These sites consist of heritage listed buildings which need be treated and inspected annually for termite inspection.& other Pest Control Requirements Regular inspections at intervals not exceeding twelve (12) months are to be undertaken. A management programme in accordance with Australian Standards as per Schedule 2 Sect 2.2 & 2.3 is to be implemented.

Royal Perth Hospital requires annual pest control service for cockroach and silverfish for the Cell and Tissue Therapies Western Australia office areas and the Research Centre PC-2 Laboratory rooms.
