This scope of works is for the construction of plant mixed stabilised pavements using purpose built road pavers on the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing East and Central Sections.

This works package will include the construction of items such as:
Plant Mixed Pavements using Foam Bitumen
Plant Mixed Pavements Stabilised with Cement

The subcontractor must be capable of constructing pavements in accordance with TMR Specifications MRTS05, MRTS08 and MRTS09.

East CH0,000 CH16,650 - 165,000.00 tonnes
Central CH17,450 - CH28,900 - 120,000.00 tonnes

Required daily placement productions are circa 3,000t per crew per day. These products will be produced from dedicated plants operating on site.

It is anticipated the works will commence August 2017 and finalise in May 2018.

This works package may be managed as one or more separable portions/packages which may be let to one or multiple subcontractors.

Before responding to the EOI your company must have a proven history of paver placing granular pavement materials, in particular unbound, cement stabilised and or plant mixed foam bitumen pavements.

Please provide evidence of projects your Company has:
Constructed unbound pavement layers using purpose built road pavers
Constructed plant mixed stabilised pavement layers using purpose built road pavers

Worked in accordance with TMR specifications listed in the scope of work.
