This scope of works is for the construction of subsoil drains along the main toll road alignment, interchanges and associated entry and exit ramps on Toowoomba Second Range Crossing.

This works package will include the excavation, installation and back fill of subsoil drains including; the installation of subsoil inlets, outlets and marker posts and the removal and onsite disposal of excavated materials. The Head Contractor will supply the subcontractor subsoil drainage components and filler materials.

The subcontractor must be capable of constructing subsoil drains in accordance with MRTS03 and TMR standard drawing 1116.

Subsoil drains will vary in dimensions from 500mm 1000mm in depth and 100mm - 600mm in width.
Approximate total subsoil lengths are:
East CH 0.0 CH 16620 39,000.00m
Central CH 17430 CH 27,000.00m

It is anticipated the works will commence August 2017 with completion in May 2018.

This works package may be managed as one or more separable portions/packages which may be let to one or multiple subcontractors.

Technical Requirements
Before responding to the EOI your company must have a proven history within the road construction industry, in particular the installation of subsoil drains to meet road authority Standards and Specifications.

Please provide evidence of projects your Company has:
Constructed subsoil pavement drains with project quantities exceeding 10,000m Worked in accordance with TMR specifications listed in the scope of work.

Please provide any other information that demonstrates your technical expertise in this area to the specifications.

Constructing subsoil drains to MRTS03 specifications is essential to being selected at the EOI stage.
