Council is seeking interested practitioners / firms with the ability to provide one or more of the range of legal advice and services for a local government Council that incorporates:
* The Local Government Act, Regulations and By-laws;
* Contract and commercial law, including leases and agreements;
* Prosecution of offences pursuant to Council By-laws and applicable legislation;
* Interpretation of legislation, including Territory and Commonwealth Acts that relate to the Council operations;
* Industrial Relations;
* Property law and conveyancing;
* Service of notices;
* General Advice;
* Debt recovery;
* Planning;
* Drafting of various documentation;
* Litigation
