Karnet Prison Farm plays a vital role in the Prison system, providing work for minimum security prisoners whilst also ordering and producing food for internal consumption within Western Australia’s Correctional facilities.

The Abattoir on site supplies 100% of the required red meat and pork requirements of the prisons. This indicates the importance of the abattoir’s role in catering to the food supply within the prison.

In order to ensure the on-going supply and delivery of live cattle and sheep for daily processing through the Abattoir, Karnet Prison Farm requires a brokerage and supply service to supply the appropriate livestock.
