Provision of Truck for Warwick State High School

⁠⁠⁠The purpose of Invitation to Offer DET WSHS01 is to identify a suitable supplier to provide a Queensland Transport registered truck for transporting stock that complies with the standards specified within this Invitation at a value for money price for Warwick State High School.

Scope
The contract is for the supply and delivery of one (1) Queensland Transport registered (On road ready) 7 seater truck delivered to Warwick State High School.

Offerors are required to offer a new unused vehicle within their offer.

It is essential that that the vehicles offered can be serviced by a manufacturer approved service centre within an 80 km radius of Warwick SHS.

Background
Warwick State High School resides under the Department of Education and Training and offers a Vet in School and animal husbandry programs. The delivery of these specialised programs require a stock vehicle to transport school Droughtmaster cattle, Texel Sheep, Angora goats and students to various Agricultural shows from Warwick to venues such as Killarney, Gatton, Boonah and Brisbane.

Warwick State High School currently owns a vehicle to meet their stock transporting demands which expires in early 2017. The vehicle under the current ownership is a seven (7) seat, 4 cylinder 2001 ISUZU NKR series – NKR150 tray truck with the following load rates: Tare: 2560, GVM:6200 and GCM 9700.

The purchase of a new truck will allow the school to own a new stock transport vehicle with features that meet the facilities specific requirements. Importantly, this will assist in delivering teaching outcomes and provide opportunity to co-ordinate a greater number of off-site learning activities for its students to further develop their skills and knowledge.

Closing Time and Date
Offers must be lodged by 4:00 pm Queensland time on Monday, 6 February, 2017. Any offer not properly lodged before the specified Closing time and date may be rejected at the discretion of the Customer. Offerors are required to submit their offer via email at admin@warwickshs.eq.edu.au.
