Ausgrid invites the lodgement of Tenders in accordance with these Request for Tender (RFT) documents for the circuit design, manufacture, supply, installation and jointing of 132 kV XLPE cables and ancillary equipment.
The scope generally involves replacing two existing two cables per phase, oil-filled sections of feeders 92J and 92G with single XLPE cables per circuit, in a common trench.
Included in the scope of works is the civil and electrical design and construction works associated with installing, testing and commissioning these circuits, as well as all necessary site investigation along the circuit route to enable the design to be completed.
The project is located in the local government area (LGA) of the City of Ryde.
A mandatory pre-tender meeting will be held at Ausgrid's Silverwater Learning Centre, 48-50 Holker Street, Silverwater NSW 2128, Auditorium 1, at 10 am, Tuesday 7 February 2017. All prospective respondents must attend this meeting. Following this meeting there will be optional site visits at Meadowbank ZS, Top Ryde ZS and East Ryde TP.
