Tender Description
Council seeks Tenders from suitably competent contractors to undertake approximately 400 metres of subsoil drainage installation and granular pavement reconstruction along Kunama Drive, at Kingston Beach, along with assorted minor footpath and kerb and Gutter repairs and other incidental civil works.
A geotechnical investigation has been undertaken and is included within the supplied documents for information. The geotechnical investigations include a lime demand test to assess stabilisation potential. Whilst the current brief and scope of works has been prepared on the basis of a granular pavement box out and replacement, stabilisation proposals may be considered by Council as an alternative option. However not all sections of Kunama Drive may be suitable for this type of treatment.
