The Department of Education and Training invites organisations to apply to lease purpose-built early childhood education and care facilities, co-located with:
* Crows Nest State School
* Goodna State School
* Kawana Waters State College
* Seaforth State School
* Nanango State School.

Eligible organisations are invited to submit an expression of interest to deliver a locally relevant service that meets the needs of children and families in the community. The successful lessees will deliver services based on the identified educational and/or health and wellbeing needs of families with children aged from birth to eight years. The lessee may operate the centre as a single service, or act as the lead provider, partnering with other community organisations to deliver services from the facility.

Resources, equipment and whitegoods to the value of $50,000 are available to support program delivery at the Crows Nest, Kawana Waters and Seaforth facilities and will remain departmental owned property. Funding is not available for the Goodna or Nanango facility.

Recurrent funding is not available to support the operation of services at these facilities.

The successful lessee will be offered a three-year lease with a negotiated rent or maintenance levy.
