Request for Proposal for the Supply of Poles for Aurora Energy

⁠⁠⁠Aurora Energy is New Zealand's sixth-largest electricity distributor delivering electricity supply to more than 85,500 homes and businesses throughout the Dunedin and Central Otago community every year.

Aurora Energy Limited is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dunedin City Holdings Limited, owned by the Dunedin City Council. Aurora Energy owns the electricity network assets and contracts infrastructure specialist Delta to plan, manage, operate and maintain the network. This Request for Proposal has been for prepared for Aurora Energy and is being managed by Delta Utility Services.

The objective of this Request for Proposal is to obtain sufficiently detailed information from Respondents that enables Aurora Energy to contract for the Supply of Poles.

The Poles are required as an integral part of the Aurora Energy Pole Upgrade Programme and to support the wider Aurora Energy network replacement and renewal requirements over the next two year period.

The mandatory preconditions and minimum specifications are outlined in the Request for Proposal documents.

The deadline for Proposals is Friday, 10 February 2017.
