Chevron Australia Pty Ltd is seeking expressions of interest from service providers able to provide offshore Geophysical Survey services.
Chevron Australia is developing its Greater Gorgon fields offshore Northwest Australia. As part of Greater Gorgon gas supply requirements, a geophysical site investigation is required to be conducted comprising of AUV geophysical and bathymetric data acquisition, and 3D Ultra High Resolution seismic data acquisition. The proposed site is located approximately 130km offshore from Barrow Island in 1350m water depth. The survey area is planned to be approximately 90km2.
Contractors will need to adhere to Chevron’s Contractor Health Environmental and Safety Management (CHESM) and Incident-and Injury-free (IIF) programs to eliminate health, environmental and safety incidents and injuries during the performance of works. Contractors that are technically qualified will be invited to complete Chevron’s Supplier Qualification process as a prerequisite to being issued invitation to tender documents.
