Purchase of Land and Development of Short Term Accommodation

⁠⁠⁠The Lockyer Valley Regional Council (Council) has identified a need for quality short term accommodation for itinerant and foreign workers within the Lockyer Valley. Council has therefore resolved to seek market led proposals for the purchase of the freehold land described below which will result in the development of short-term accommodation on the land.

Land: Philps Road, Grantham Qld 4347

Lot 2 on SP270095

Area: Approximately 37 hectares

Current Zoning: In accordance with the Granthan Reconstruction Area Development Scheme.

Current Use: Leased for grazing. Subject to Council accepting a concept and proposal by an interested party, the Tenant will vacate the Land by 30 April 2017.

Process: Expressions of Interest closing at 2pm on 24 January 2017 (subject to change by the Council).

The EOI phase is intended to produce a shortlist of preferred Applicants that may then be invited to tender in the subsequent Tender Process.
