Tenderers will need to undertake their own due diligence, including but not limited to, seeking relevant development and other approvals required and obtaining details on all encumbrances on the land, e.g. easements. All associated costs, and costs for obtaining relevant approvals, are the responsibility of the successful Tenderer. The successful Tenderer will need to undertake all work, at their own expense, to render the property suitable for the purpose for which it is being purchased. Council will not be responsible for any expenses or losses which may have been incurred by any person in the preparation of their Tender or subsequent purchase or use of the property.

A standard REIQ Contract of Sale will be used for sales of the properties, and Tenderers must note that any Special Conditions required by Tenderers must be outlined in the Form of Tender, and are subject to acceptance or rejection at Council’s sole discretion. Additional pages for any of the requirements of this Tender can be added if needed.

Tenders marked “CORP08-16/17 - Sale of surplus Council land” must be lodged via Council's electronic Tender box below– by no later than 11am, Friday 27 January 2017.
