Tender Description
The City of Ryde invites experienced public art practitioners to express interest in an exciting public art opportunity. The successful artist will work in collaboration with the Project Team and local community on a public art installation in Mulhall Park, West Chatswood.
An indicative scope of works in provided below. The final scope of works will be developed with the successful artist.
a. Attend an onsite briefing to discuss project parameters and potential public art treatments;
b. Conduct an onsite workshop with local residents to explore the thematic framework and conceptual basis for the art installation;
c. Based on the community input from the onsite workshop produce a public art narrative, concept designs and documentation;
d. Participate in a second feedback session, presenting the narrative and concepts to the local community and making any adjustments to the design as necessary;
e. Complete design development;
f. Manage, with in the agreed budget and timeline, the delivery of the public art component within the agreed program of Mulhall Park upgrade.
