City of Parramatta, Invitation to Tender No. ITT 39/2016.
Parramatta River Flood Information System.

Tenders are invited for the services of an experienced consultant group to create a flood information system for the Parramatta River. This tender aims to fulfill its objectives through the deliverables set out below but is not restricted to them. City of Parramatta Council is willing to consider innovative solutions if these fulfill the same role as or exceed the deliverable requirements stated below:
* A web based data portal accessible to all partner organisations and the hub for viewing all information.
* A forecasting tool capable of incorporating all catchment gauges, forecast and model data to predict potential outcomes, impacts and provide forecast inundation mapping.
* Definition of forecast or actual, trigger levels and lead times relating to a predetermined list of up to 40 risk areas and operational responses.
* An alerting tool with automatic alerting functionality for partners and manually activated alerting for opt in public and business customers.
* An iFrame web page within the data portal which shows a map of all gauges, and has functionality to show recent levels and other key information.
* Ongoing support and maintenance of systems.
* Training of staff and training materials.
* Technical documents and a report on all aspects of the system including forecasting methodology.
* A PowerPoint presentation for publicity purposes.
* A 2 year warranty on all aspects of the system.
