The scope of the works includes the upgrading of the physical security at 4 Substation sites located in Northern Queensland. The work will is packaged based on the geographical location of the sites and the work involved.
Part A - Northern (2 sites)
* Chalumbin Substation
* Woree Substation

Part B - Central (2 sites)
* Ross Substation
* Strathmore Substation

For each part Tenderers may tender on the fencing component only, the security component only or the whole of the works

Fencing Upgrade works include
chain wire perimeter fence - upgrade or replace as necessary;
new pedestrian access gates, where not already installed;

Security Upgrade works include
* New electronic (swipe card) access control:
* Electric security fencing around site perimeter:
* Upgrade building physical security and building intruder detection as necessary:
* Modify all external gates, excluding the pedestrian access gate, such that they may only be unlocked and opened from the inside;
* Upgrade / replace warning signage and remove anti-climbing barriers on perimeter fencing upon completion.
