The City has made a strategic decision to exit from involvement in aged care and retirement living at Mertome Village, which is a large site comprising independent living units (ILUs) and a residential care facility over approximately 4.5 hectares at 30 Winifred Road, Bayswater Western Australia.

This presents a rare opportunity for the redevelopment of aged care and retirement living services for the current and future community, and the City is seeking expressions of interest from reputable operators to acquire:
(a) the business as a going concern, with all associated assets, (excluding the bed licences and existing operations of the residential care facility), at Lot 16, 30 Winifred Road Bayswater.
(b) a 99-year long-term lease of the site and an adjoining vacant lot.
