17011 - Maranoa Regional Council invites tenders for the lease or sale of the premises located at 18-20 Station Street, Roma. This Property is known locally as the Old Butter Factory.
The Property, consisting of two lots, Lot 1 on R8650 (3,981m2 in area) and Lot 2 on R8688 (923 m2 in area), is comprised of:
* Butter Factory Building, including site office, reception and loading dock (approximately 400m2);
* Storage Shed (approximately 306m2);
* Site Office (approximately 81m2);
* Secondary Storage Shed (approximately 126m2); and
* Bitumen sealed area/hard stand.
Ideally located on the boundaries of Station Street and a railway line (The Western Freight Network), the Property provides prospective investors with a direct link to Toowoomba and the Port of Brisbane, via rail or road freight services. The Property is zoned as “Industry” in the Roma Town Planning Scheme 2006 and proposed to be zoned “Principal Centre” in the draft Maranoa Region Planning Scheme.
