⁠⁠⁠Notification Demolition Works for the Removal of Existing Buildings and Structures and Disconnection of Services of the Red Hill Group Housing, Block 1, Section 25, Block 1 Section 26, Block 1 Section 40, Blocks 1 to 15 and 49 Section 31, Blocks 26 to 34 Section 29 and Blocks 51 to 55 Section 32, Red Hill, A.C.T.

The Land Development Agency (LDA) is preparing to demolish the Red Hill Group Housing complex as part of the ACT Governments Asset Recycling Initiative (ARI) program.

On Monday,16 January 2017, the LDA will be releasing a Request for Tender for the engagement of a suitably qualified contractor for the demolition of the one hundred and forty four units, structures and disconnection of services that comprise the Red Hill Group Housing complex.

The Group Housing complex consists of 8 bedsitters, 32 one bedroom units, 48 two bedroom units, 56 three bedroom units, and associated carport/garages. These are in 1, 2 and 3 storey configuration.

A demolition DA has been approved.
