⁠⁠⁠Industry briefing session for Estate Works Program - Northern Territory.

The Department of Defence, Directorate of Estate Works Program Office (DEWPO) delivers an annual Estate Works Program (EWP) of building, infrastructure and maintenance related projects at Defence sites across Australia (including major bases, minor sites, training areas and leased facilities).

Projects range from small to medium value, simple to complex, single to multi-site, delivered across a regional, state or national basis.

Projects are delivered on existing or greenfield sites and may include construction works, civil works, environmental and heritage management works, remediation works (e.g. asbestos, contamination) and consultancies with some design services.

An industry briefing session will be provided in Darwin, NT commencing at 9:30am on 6 December 2016 noting that all projects delivered under the EWP in the Northern Territory are subject to the requirements of the Commonwealth’s Indigenous Procurement Policy (IPP). The briefing will provide industry with an overview of the following:
* How the EWP is developed on a yearly basis;
* Key stakeholders associated with the EWP;
* The EWP procurement process;
* Commonwealth policy and tendering requirements;
* Defence policies and contracting suite; and
* How industry can keep informed of EWP opportunities.

There is no need to pre-register for the briefing however attendees will be required to register their attendance upon arrival.
