Tender Description
The purpose of the Upper Canal Project Stage 2 (“the Project”) is to restore the capacity of the Upper Canal to 680ML/d for durations of up to six months and to extend the useful life of the Upper Canal to at least 2035.
The purpose of this procurement is to engage a Service Provider for professional services in support of the Project. The Service Provider is required to undertake investigation, develop a detailed concept design, prioritise and group the scope of work in such a way that WaterNSW can procure multiple Design and Construct Contractors to perform the work over three financial years, between FY17/18 and FY19/20. The Service Provider is also required to provide a risk based cost estimate to P50 and P90 for the scope of works.
The Service Provider is required to provide technical support services to WaterNSW in support of the preferred procurement and contracting model. This includes technical assessment of tenders, design review, quality assurance and responding to technical enquiries as required.
