Tender Description
ARTC is seeking tenders for vegetation management within the North Coast Railway corridor. Contractors must meet the following minimum requirements:
1. Contractors must possess a hi-rail vehicle equipped with a spray boom capable of reaching 6 metres from the centreline of the track; and
2. Contractors must possess machinery and equipment to perform slashing, mowing, brush-cutting, tree felling and hand spraying of herbicides; and
3. Contractor's personnel must possess Rail Industry Worker (RIW) cards with the appropriate competencies to perform the scope and to work in the rail corridor; and
4. Contractors shall be responsible for all safe working protection, controls and measures in accordance with ARTC's Network Rules and Procedures.
The contract term will commence after the tender process until the 30th of June 2019.
