Tender Description
SCS requires the immediate start of the following items of wet hired plant:
* Up to three 20-25t excavators with suitably qualified and experienced operators to carry out rock revetment operations. Excavators will be working in sand at Stockton Beach (NSW). Excavators must have hydraulic rock grab attachments.
* Up to two 20-25t excavators with suitably qualified and experienced operators to work in a local quarry sorting and loading rock up to 1.2m. Excavators must have hydraulic rock grab attachments.
* One 100hp posi track loader with suitably qualified and experienced operator to carry out rock revetment operations. Posi track will be working in sand at Stockton Beach (NSW) and must have a 4 in 1 bucket attachment.
Construction works are estimated to run for 3 months. The project site will be subject to a two week Christmas shut down period. The site will also be subject to weather and tidal conditions.
SCS is requesting tenders for the appointment of preferably one contractor for provision of all of the services required. However, SCS may consider the appointment of separate contractors for different phases of the services if it is in the best interests of SCS to do so.
