Atwood Australian Waters Drilling Pty Ltd has been awarded a contract by Woodside for the Supply of a moored, semi-submersible Mobile Offshore Drilling Unit (MODU) for the Greater Enfield Development (GED) Project.
The role of the Contractor’s Scope of Work is for the provision of Mooring Services and Equipment, including but not limited to:
Engineering
* Mooring Analyses
* Geotechnical Anchor Holding Analyses
* Mooring Location Risk Assessments
Operations and Maintenance
* Mooring Equipment Deployment Procedures
* Daily Reporting and AAR’s (After Action Report)
* Accurate and up to date maintenance records
* Organization of logistics to perform required inspection on equipment
* Personnel and required equipment to perform mooring preset installation, hook-up, vessel disconnect, and preset retrieval.
Equipment
* Anchors, chain, wire, fiber rope, tools, etc required to perform mooring services and hook-up of the Atwood Osprey.
