Woolgoolga to Ballina, HW10 Pacific Highway Upgrade - Traffic Management and Services Consultant, Glenugie to Ballina

⁠⁠⁠Suitably qualified consultants are invited to tender for Traffic Management and Professional Services to support planning and operational traffic management activities on the Woolgoolga to Ballina Project for services between Glenugie and Ballina (Sections 3 to 11).

The scope of works includes:
* Provision of road safety, traffic engineer and traffic management technical advice.
* Preparation and application of traffic management strategies, measures and SOPs.
* Reviewing and assessing traffic staging designs, temporary works drawings.
* Liaising with Works Contractors and their Traffic Control Subcontractors, to facilitate the planning and co-ordination of road occupancies and logistics.
* The collection and analysis of traffic data.
* Assist with the development of ITS innovations.
* Establish and manage a Project Traffic Control Room.
* Monitoring of travel time data.
* Road safety audit and inspections.
* Conducting performance monitoring and evaluating compliance.
* Co-ordinating and disseminating changed traffic condition information

This tender provides an opportunity for local industry participation.

The NSW Government’s Code of Practice for Procurement (NSW Code) and the NSW Government’s Implementation Guidelines to the NSW Code of Practice for Procurement for: Building and Construction Industry (NSW Guidelines) apply to this project.

It is a requirement for this project that the successful contractor be accredited under the Australian Government Building and Construction OHS Accreditation Scheme at the time of entering into the contract for the contract work and while the contract work is being carried out. Information on the Scheme is available on the Australian Government website at www.fsc.gov.au.

Compliance with the NSW Code and NSW Guidelines is a pre-requisite to submitting any response to a procurement process (expression of interest or tender response) and to any successful application being awarded. This is a joint Australian and NSW government funded project.
