Mid-Coast Council is located approximately three hours drive north of Sydney on the Mid-North Coast between Port Stephens Council to the south and Port Macquarie to the north. Forster-Tuncurry and Taree are the largest urban areas in the LGA.

Other towns include Gloucester, Tea Gardens, Hawks Nest, Buladelah and Stroud.

Council is seeking to engage a suitably qualified civil marine contractor to undertake the replacement of the Tuncurry Jetty and installation of a new pontoon; relocation and installation of the existing pontoon from Tuncurry to Pacific Palms and construction of a new pontoon at Coomba Park.

Other repairs to existing marine infrastructure at these sites are also included in this tender.
