Woolgoolga to Ballina, HW10 Pacific Highway Upgrade - Quarry Materials

⁠⁠⁠Suitably qualified suppliers are invited to tender for the supply of quarry materials to facilitate the future upgrade of the Pacific Highway between Woolgoolga and Ballina Project.

The scope of work is for the supply, conformance testing and delivery of quarry materials. The supplier will be required to provide a set of rates for the project. The rates shall be all inclusive and supplier shall perform all works necessary for supply of quarry materials at those rates provided and as described below:
* Produce, stockpile in quarry and demonstrate conformance testing of quarry products in accordance with the Specifications;
* Maintain stockpiling capacities in quarry;
* Control and manage the moisture content and protect and secure quarry materials in accordance with requirements set out in the Specifications;
* Load Project Contractors trucks at the quarry
* Deliver quarry products to the work sites and comply with the RMS and the Project Contractors’ requirements;
* Comply with the supply and demand forecasts of quarry materials from all the Project Contractors;
* Comply with all local authority requirements; and
* Pay any road maintenance contributions, royalties and other statutory and legal requirements to relevant authorities.
* This tender provides an opportunity for local industry participation.
* The NSW Government’s Code of Practice for Procurement (NSW Code) and the NSW Government’s Implementation Guidelines to the NSW Code of Practice for Procurement for: Building and Construction Industry (NSW Guidelines) apply to this project.
* It is a requirement for this project that the successful contractor be accredited under the Australian Government Building and Construction OHS Accreditation Scheme at the time of entering into the contract for the contract work and while the contract work is being carried out. Information on the Scheme is available on the Australian Government website at www.fsc.gov.au.
* Compliance with the NSW Code and NSW Guidelines is a pre-requisite to submitting any response to a procurement process (expression of interest or tender response) and to any successful application being awarded.
