TBA - Following the adoption of the Community and Corporate Plans in June 2016, The Barossa Council made provision to undertake an independent service review to ensure alignment with the new strategic planning framework and to evaluate the necessity of services and the levels of service provided.
Council’s Service Review, which is being overseen by the Council’s Audit Committee, has been divided into two parts. Part 1 will encompass the documentation of all services and the levels of service provided by Council and determination of strategic and operational alignment; and Part 2 will use the results of Part 1 to inform the Audit Committee and Council’s view regarding the merits of undertaking a further detailed review of services and service levels (either specific or all) and to make recommendations for change.
Council is seeking to enter into a Professional Services Agreement with a consultant to deliver on Part 1 of the Service Review.
