PNG Renewable Energy

⁠⁠⁠Registrations of Interest are sought from suitably qualified contractors to participate in an Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) opportunity. This ROI process will shortlist companies to participate in a subsequent tender. The successful contractor will participate in planning and design of renewable energy projects in Papua New Guinea, East Sepik Province. Services required include the supply and installation of PV panels and mounting systems, storage batteries, inverters, step up transformer and a mini grid comprising 11 KV high-voltage backbone with 415 V service distribution lines to the houses and buildings in the towns. Demonstrated experience participating in previous ECI assignments along with experience operating in remote areas of PNG or similar are important selection criteria.

GHD Ltd has been commissioned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of New Zealand (MFAT) to manage this ROI process.
