Tender Description
NSW Family and Community Services (FACS) are seeking non-government service providers to deliver child protection services to NSW children and families. A significant investment in family preservation and restoration services will be implemented by FACS with the aim of improving the long term outcomes for children impacted by child abuse and neglect.
Family Preservation and Restoration services:
In June 2016, the Minister for Family and Community Services the Hon. Brad Hazard announced a significant increase in investment for services to reduce the number of children in Out of Home Care. FACS will be establishing new evidence based family preservation and restoration service models with a record of success in other jurisdictions. To support implementation of these models FACS will also be establishing an implementation intermediary to work with local service providers in preparing for delivery of high quality services to families.
A call for tender submissions will be posted on the NSW Procurement website. This competitive tender process will seek to secure suitable agencies to deliver these important services. In addition, a call for tender submissions will be posted to secure an implementation intermediary for new family preservation and restoration models.
