Horizon Power cordially invites you to submit a Response for HP01350 Installation Works for the West Pilbara Protection and Automation Project.
The current protection system in the West Pilbara is either beyond or at the end of its design life. The objective of the project is to remove the transmission systems’ dependency on obsolete technology by upgrading the protection relays and replacing the existing telecommunications (aged copper pilot cables) between Karratha Terminal - Pegs Creek and Karratha Terminal to Bulgarra substation with ADSS fibre cable to provide sufficient bandwidth to support modern protection and SCADA services.
The relay works will be carried out in the following substations:
* Dampier Zone Substation;
* Cape Lambert Terminal Substation;
* Karratha Terminal Substation;
* Bulgarra Zone Substation; and
* Pegs Creek Zone Substation.
Responses must be lodged by 14:00 WST 7 November 2016.
A non-mandatory industry briefing will be held at 10:00am on Friday 14 October 2016 at GHD Offices in Perth (Level 10, 999 Hay Street).
Tenderers are to complete the Confirmation of Tender Briefing Attendance Form and submit by 11:00 WST Thursday 13 October 2016 to attend.
