WentWest, operating as the Western Sydney Primary Health Network (WSPHN), is seeking to commission innovative projects to assist with a targeted approach to methamphetamine use.
This could include preparing assessment guidelines for addressing the multiple consequences of long-term methamphetamine use, with particular reference to psychiatric consequences of use and blood borne virus risk that can be utilised across the PHN. These assessment guidelines could be utilised to determine the criteria for trials of treatment and counselling models.
Since 2002 WentWest has been part of the western Sydney community, delivering support and education to primary care and working with key partners to progress the region's health system.
As the Western Sydney Primary Health Network, WentWest is focused on addressing both regional and national health challenges. Together with health professionals, partners from both the health and hospital sector, consumers and the broader community, WentWest seeks to identify gaps and commission solutions for better health outcomes.
Submissions close at 5:00pm AEDT on 18 November 2016 and submissions must be fully received by this time.
