Woolgoolga to Ballina Upgrade - Concrete Supply

⁠⁠⁠Suitably qualified suppliers are invited to tender for the supply of concrete to facilitate the upgrade of the Pacific Highway between Woolgoolga and Ballina Project.

The scope of works includes but is not limited to:
Design, procurement, supply, logistical planning, installation, commissioning, monitoring, maintenance and decommissioning of batch plants. Each batch plant requires its own source of electrical power, and water supply.
* Supply and delivery of conforming concrete mixtures to the worksites of multiple contractors between Glenugie and Ballina in accordance with RMS specifications;
* Assurance that all equipment proposed for use on the project meets legislative requirements that are relevant for the supply of concrete;
* Obtain and maintain all relevant licences and approvals;

This tender provides an opportunity for local industry participation.

The NSW Government’s Code of Practice for Procurement (NSW Code) and the NSW Government’s Implementation Guidelines to the NSW Code of Practice for Procurement for: Building and Construction Industry (NSW Guidelines) apply to this project. Compliance with the NSW Code and NSW Guidelines is a pre-requisite to submitting any response to a procurement process (expression of interest or tender response) and to any successful application being awarded.

This is a joint Australian and NSW government funded project.

It is a requirement for this project that the successful supplier be accredited under the Australian Government Building and Construction OHS Accreditation Scheme at the time of entering into the contract for the contract work and while the contract work is being carried out. Information on the Scheme is available on the Australian Government website at www.fsc.gov.au.

The Building Code 2013 (Building Code) and the Supporting Guidelines to the Building Code 2013 (Supporting Guidelines) applies to this project. This document can be viewed at the Australian Government website at www.employment.gov.au/BuildingCode.
