The Penneshaw Community Wastewater Management Scheme is nearing completion, commissioning and property connection. Over the next 12-18 months Council expects the treatment of town wastewater to generate a volume of Class B treated water which will be stored in the Penneshaw Wastewater Treatment storage lagoon. Council believes that there are options for local use for this water such as pasture enhancement, commercial tree lot irrigation and use for small scale horticultural production and would like to invide Expressions of Interest from the local community for this water.
