GIG Map Viewer

The Geoscience Information Gateway (GIG) Project is an umbrella project for the renewal, improvement, replacement and integration of the GSNSW on line web applications, namely MinView, DIGS Open, Geoscientific Data Warehouse (GDW) and Geoscience Product Catalogue (GPC). The GIG Map Viewer addresses MinView and the GDW Map Viewer.

The GIG Map Viewer Project scope of work includes:
* Detailed analysis of requirements and the development of a technical design specification
* UI/UX design specification
* A combination of custom development and off the shelf customization and configuration (GSNSW has a strong preference to minimize custom development wherever possible)
* Development of Test Plans and Use Cases
* System Testing
* User Acceptance Testing
* Documentation
* Implementation and Training in association with:
* Project Management and Administration

The GIG Map Viewer will be hosted on AWS cloud infrastructure.

The GIG Map Viewer Project will be conducted under the NSW Procure IT Framework (version 3.1) Contract and use the SCM0020 Prequalification Scheme: ICT Services.

It is intended for the GIG Map Viewer to go live on 3rd July 2017. This means that the final delivery of the solution be no later than 30th April 2017.
