Eurobodalla Shire Council (ESC) is inviting tenders to reinstate, repair and replace an existing bitumen access and other associated works located on the berm of the Deep Creek Dam wall. Deep Creek Dam is accessed via the Eurobodalla Botanic Gardens turnoff on the Princes Highway approximately 10km south of Batemans Bay, NSW.
Work is being carried out as a result of deterioration to the existing road surface, subsidence of the conduit trench connecting solar panels to their respective switch boards, to repair/improve drainage and facilitate future maintenance overall.
Access to the work site is physically restricted and is likely to include traversing the dam wall. The contractor is responsible to determine the best option, establish an access track and minimise construction traffic that will prevent any damage to the dam wall.
