Requirements
Council has already made preliminary internal assessments of its two pools and would advise to tenderers that it has the following scope of expectations regarding areas where it will receive advice on:
Waikerie Pool
- Waikerie 50 m, 6 lane swimming pool and concourse;
- Waikerie Toilet Blocks and Kiosk;
- Waikerie Solar Heating equipment and structure;
- Waikerie Pump and Treatment Room; and
- Waikerie Junior Pool.
Out of Scope
- Waikerie Swimming Clubrooms
- Waikerie Swimming pool storage shed
Loxton Pool
- Loxton 50 m, 8 lane swimming pool and concourse ;
- Loxton Toilet Blocks and Kiosk;
- Loxton Solar Heating equipment and Structure;
- Loxton Pump and Treatment Room;
- Loxton Middle Pool.
- Loxton Junior Pool.

The District Council of Loxton Waikerie is seeking tenders from suitable qualified professionals outlining a cost for responding to the following questions:
- What type of major problems could occur with continuing to manage our outdoor pools in the way we are and what is the estimated timeframe of these problems occurring;
- What options exist to manage these problems such that Council can continue to deliver a level of service to the community of providing equivalent outdoor swimming facilities and what suggested estimated additional life may we get from the options;
- What the associated costs of these different options are estimated to be; and
- What the suggested constriction delivery time lines would be for the different options.
Any tender will need to separately clearly identify total associated travel costs that may be incurred in visiting our outdoor pools to assess them, where deemed necessary.
