Tender Description
The scope of works to be carried out under this Contract comprises the provision of design, documentation, specifications, material, plant and labour of whatever kind necessary for the complete and proper construction and placing in service of a box culvert crossing to replace the existing bridge in accordance with the Specification, and to the entire satisfaction of the Superintendent.
The work of the contract is detailed on the drawings and schedule of lump sums, and includes the following, but is not limited to the:
* Set out of works.
* Removal of existing bridge deck, abutments, side boards, kerbing etc.
* Installation of culvert base and scour protection.
* Installation of new box culverts with headwalls.
* Installation of new signs and guide posts.
* Construction of 25 m of new road as per the drawing with 14/7 two coat seal.
* Clean up of site, including removal and proper disposal of all waste and surplus materials.
* Twelve months defects liability period after practical completion.
